Landing Spaces is a self-service ecommerce platform, which enables brands to create social media campaigns that dynamically drive customers to their preferred retailers via a bespoke landing page checkout experience.
I joined Constant.Co as Head of UX and quickly identified there was no source of truth for it's brand or SaaS product. A lack of consistency and process meant that design outputs were highly inefficient, impacting both the engineering and QA teams – making new product features costly and slow to release.
I worked closely with the c-suite and product team evangelising for the efficiency gains and and scalability of having a design system. We aligned on a ‘work slow to work fast’ strategy and launched the startup’s first design system, which included refining foundational assets such as brand logos, colours and fonts. I took design ownership of the landing spaces product, rebuilding all screens and flows with guidelines and documentation. To address gaps in research and discovery, I introduced a new design process and ran training sessions to help designers work collaboratively and become user-centred in their thinking.
With a shared knowledge and confidence, the designers worked with pace and precision. Both product and C-suite noticed a signigicant 40% increase in design output and stronger visual consistency. High-fidelity prototypes became standard for user testing and client demos. The design system and documentation bridged the gap between design and engineering, reducing dev time, errors, and QA bugs.
With solid foundations established, I shifted focus to product strategy – collaborating closely with product managers, data analysts, synthesizing user engagement to identify critical opportunities, drive meaningful improvements, and shape innovative new features for Landing Spaces.
